The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-examination for 49 candidates who could not complete the AIAPGET 2026 examination at a centre in Jaipur due to a power failure.
The AIAPGET 2026 examination was conducted on August 22, 2026, in Shift I. According to the NTA notice, a total of 36,979 candidates were registered, of whom 35,837 appeared for the examination across 200 centres in the country. The examination was successfully completed for 35,788 candidates.
However, at Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre, Jaipur, 192 candidates appeared for the examination, of whom 49 were unable to complete the test because of a power failure at the centre. NTA said the disruption was attributed to M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the examination conducting agency.
NTA has decided to conduct a re-examination for all affected candidates on September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The re-examination will be held at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur.
Candidates who are required to appear for the re-examination will receive revised admit cards containing further details. NTA has advised the affected candidates to follow the information provided in their revised admit cards.
The agency has also expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to candidates because of the disruption at the examination centre.
The re-examination announcement applies specifically to the 49 candidates who could not complete the AIAPGET 2026 examination at the affected Jaipur centre. Candidates who successfully completed their examination are not mentioned as being required to appear again in the notice.
