80 Kashmiri students stuck in Kazakhstan to be brought back home before June 14: Indian Ambassador

Indian Ambassador to Kazakhstan has assured that all the 80 Kashmiri students stuck at Almati and Astana will be repatriated to Kashmir before June 14.

Former union minister and senior Congress leader Saifuddin Soz in a statement on Wednesday afternoon claimed that Ambassador Prabhat Kumar has assured him that Kashmiri students will be repatriated.

''I received a communication from Mr Kumar, this morning, assuring me that 80 Kashmiri students, now stranded at Almati and Astana would be brought back to Kashmir before June 14, 2020 under the 'Vande Bharat Mission,'' Mr Soz said.

''Mr Kumar told me that the schedule is being worked out and also assured that he would inform Kashmiri students of this development, at the earliest,'' Mr Soz added.
