Sweet eats and treats await participants of Cocoa Tree's annual dessert workshop in Kochi
Cocoa Tree's annual dessert is working with NGO, Guardians of Dreams and promises participants and time sweetly spent
If there is one thing that Masterchef Australia has taught us, it’s that even an amateur can recreate some of the most complex dishes, especially masterpieces of the sugary kind. How many of us have wanted to recreate the desserts we see on bakery shelves? Here's a way to cater to your sweet tooth in the comfort of your own home. Cocoa Tree, in association with the NGO, Guardians of Dreams, is organising their much-appreciated and long-awaited Baking Spree, again.
Baking Spree is the annual demo dessert workshop organised by Cocoa Tree, the resident café at Avenue Regent, Ernakulam on November 1, 2017. The workshop is led by experienced pastry chefs of the renowned café. This year, Chef Joshua is all set to teach participants a few of his top tricks and show them how to recreate three of his best-loved desserts — choux pastry, baked cheesecake, and triple chocolate gateaux.
Sweet Poses: Last year's baking spree even had a photobooth
At past workshops, the participants were treated to more than just sweet treats when the chefs answered all their questions about baking and shared ways to better their desserts. Last year’s workshop also saw a fun photo booth that the participants eagerly posed at. With this complete package of fun and learning, participants have shown more interest to return on a regular basis. And if you need more convincing, all proceeds from this event will go towards improving the lives of children in need at orphanages and shelter homes.
The workshop will be conducted in two batches, one at 9.00 am and the other at 1.30 pm. Participants will leave with a certificate, some exciting gifts and a lot of frosting on their hands. So, hurry up! There are limited seats available and they are filling up quickly.
