LET'S CELEBRATE INDIA @ 75
As the nation marches toward a platinum-tinted landmark in its independent history, we at The New Indian Express and Edex truly believe that there's a need to look both behind us and ahead of us. To discover the stories of a nation of a billion and to celebrate our pride as a nation. Could there really be a better way to look at India's glorious past and divine the road ahead than through the thoughts and views of 75 of India's most aspirational students?
We didn't think so, either.
The New Indian Express and Edex bring to you a virtual series that will bring India's most eloquent, compelling, patriotic and well-spoken school students on one platform — to talk about India's last 75 years — through the prism of everything from sporting glory to our spurt in digital tech adoption, and also draw us a picture of what these sectors may look like, through their bright young eyes.

INDIA IN 75 SECONDS
After 75 years of Independence, the India story is still one that every young person in the country is constantly discovering. And it's one that comes out differently depending on who tells it, where they're from and what language they speak. But that's the beauty of India. Today, India has gone mobile in so many ways. And we want to use that rising ease of use that the youth have with the mobile phone to rediscover their version of India's story - across 75 glorious years. And that's where India in 75 Seconds comes in. A short-video competition open to students from across the country where we want them to use mobile phones, creative storytelling apps and their innate creativity to tell us their version of the India story in 75 seconds flat. Hosted by The New Indian Express group on our new youth engagement platform Edexworks (www.edexlive.com/edexworks), these are the rules for the contest:
