A reputed private school in Dharmapuri with only 40 seats for Kindergarten on Saturday witnessed a mad rush of over 200 parents who flocked and even camped out on the road to ensure their child got the coveted seat. The strict selection process based on the parent's qualification is the basis on which the child will be selected.

The scene and concept is quite similar to 2017 Irfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium, where a rich but Hindi-language educated family go through several means to get their daughter admitted to a good English school.

The parents even formed their own token systems and gathered in an orderly fashion and slept by the road based on their allocated token number. "The private school only offers 40 seats, so I am waiting here to be the first person to get my child admitted here," said a parent who arrived at midnight.

"Last year my daughter was admitted to the school and there has been a great change in her behaviour. Each of us is here so our child can get a quality education", said another parent. Sources within the school administration claimed that the school has only 40 seats as per facilities available and would select a student through a strict selection process based on their parent's educational qualifications.
