ASK Era Infra Private Limited's concept behind ask is to divide the households in the city into different units and appoint a unit CEO for each unit which can cater their needs. These unit CEO’s will act as an intermediate between the customers and the dealers. Each unit CEO’s will have 200 houses under him/ her.

Rajesh Keerthi is the man behind ASK (Assisted Shopping Kiosk) and he says that ASK is a bridge between online and offline shopping. “ Ask is the outcome of my previous experience in working at various companies like Reliance, Staples.in, M-Internationals, etc” he tells briefing that any business needs four pillars to succeed: rentals, salary, inventory and marketing budget, but ASK does not need any of these.

Our aim is to create 1000 more unit CEO’s by the next November

The ASK selects qualified CEO from different residential communities and gives access to the people under their unit. “We intend to take care of the goods, services and entertainment needs of people in the unit. Each house in the unit will have a unique identification number and a mobile application will be given to them after registration. People can use the app to look at various services provided by the company. If they want to place an order they can directly contact the unit CEO.” explains Rajesh.

Currently, the company is providing services for about 10,000 households in the city. The future plan is to set up this company in cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad

The services provided by the company comes in four forms: door delivery, where the product is delivered to the doorstep; touch and feel, where the customer can go to the shop listed in the app and get a discount of five or 10%; Buy and sell, where the customer can buy good or sell goods and the last is hospitalities and entertainment. “ During this time and age people don’t have the time or patience, many do not trust online shopping, so we brought in human intervention in the form of unit CEO’s to make their work easy,” tells Rajesh.
