A 20-year-old NEET aspirant was found hanging by the neck from the ceiling fan of his hostel room in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in Kota, police said today.

The body of Abdullaha Azij, from Kanura village of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, was discovered last night by the hostel warden, Neeraj Gupta, Circle In charge (CI), Jawaharnagar police station said, adding that he might have killed himself on December 3.

The warden had not seen the boy for almost three days when he decided to check his room through a back window and found him hanging, Gupta said. In a suicide note recovered from his room, the boy mentioned some family problem as the reason, the CI said.
