In a country where education and healthcare is the need of the hour, HealthSetGo has launched an e-health solution in schools governed by the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati under the Smart Cities Mission. It organised a two-day health assessment programme under the Smart Health Project and brought a panel of expert doctors to carry out a growth monitoring health assessment for the students.
The medical team of HealthSetGo services assessed around 200 students over the two-day period. "With HealthSetGo, the idea is not to cure the sick, but to prevent it in those who haven’t succumbed to the ill-effects of bad health," says Priya Prakash, the CEO of HealthSetGo, adding that the organisation aims to establish the largest network of health-promoting schools in the country.
“At HealthSetGo, we feel that children today hold the key to tomorrow’s healthy future. We stress the need to provide children with a healthy environment, which leads to holistic development. Our effort in organising in-depth health assessment of children in schools is aimed at ensuring that health issues are detected early and preventive action can help children lead healthy and happy lives," she says.
Technology-driven and quality healthcare is being delivered at the schools through an e-health solution with qualified doctors, where a comprehensive physical, dental and eye assessment are conducted covering valuable growth and developmental criteria. Also, parents can view these reports on an exclusive online platform at just the click of a button. After the assessment, a teleconsultation is provided to every parent to give recommendations and a way forward to take care of their children.
"HealthSetGo also provides the schools with a health overview report, highlighting major causes of concern in students and suggesting appropriate recommendations, which empower them to make data-driven decisions to impact the students’ health," concludes Priya.
